SEEMS FAMILIAR, FEELS WRONG.
The distorted world of illustrator and printmaker PETRA ORAVAKANGAS (b. 1994) is made of macabre metamorphoses and surreal sceneries, often metaphorically depicting events that seem familiar, but feel wrong.
She studied fine arts (2013–2014) and graphic design (2017–2018) in Lahti Academy of Liberal and Fine Arts. In 2022 she graduated with a Bachelor of Culture and Arts in Visual Communication from LAB UAS, and continues to live and work in Lahti, Finland.
